Looking for suggestions - have a teenager who'se into MSN & other chat areas we'd rather she wasn't. We've trained her not to give out personal info, but have spectrum and know that she is. Is there any way to block MSN and other chat areas and have it look like it's just a computer problem?
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Please only post replys here - she may be checking the emails.
    Thanks!

well, actually i would say from experience its probably better to block the Chat rather than just msn messenger..

(btw if you download msn 5 from the website you can install it without a problem even with that program :()

Does she have her own user, and does the machine use XP? If so... she probably wont be able to install programs...

Of course, to stop her even being able to CONNECT to msn (not just get rid of the program) you can do this:block the address:

    gateway.messager.hotmail.com
    and block port 1863

If you need help with this, then post..
