msn wont install

when i try to install windows live messenger it come up wit system error 0x80070643 also my computer wont install updates? can anyone help??

Thanks for your help, i downloaded the dial a fix and it still inst working, it says windows installer is not installed correctly

 

hi i tried downloading from the link you gave me, windows installer and the same thing keeps happening...

 

i went into add remove programmes and removed windows installer and went back to ur link again n am currently trying to download windows installer fingers crossed
