I understand this is for my Office 2010 and I can use this to repair office. I don't need space.
However, it says to remove it, if you want to, use disc cleanup but it does not appear in mine. I use TreeSize and it is there and shows it is using 350 GB. I am not going to remove it as I may need it to repair Office.
Why doe my disc cleanup not show it?
Should I check to show hidden files and folders to do so if I wanted to or is there another way to get it to display in disc cleanup?
    TY

    Yes, it's a hidden folder. ;)

I have 'Show hidden files, folders, and drives' selected, but MSOCache doesn't show in Disk Cleanup.
If you have Microsoft Office on disc, that folder can be deleted.

BTW The size of the MSOCache folder is not 350 GB. MSO 2007 = 527 MB.

Mine is M.S. Office for Home and Student 2010 and it is 350 GB according to TreeSize.
Thanks for conforming the hidden folders.
It is peculiar that Dell made it 64 bit not the typical 32 so I made a disc from the files and also have a site they keep moving around.
I have reinstalled from my disc at least 8 times over the years once I remove the current installation.
Believe it or not, and although it is recommended, it will not work with 32 bit downloads.
I hope it is not OEM in my Dell as I plan to use it in another PC some day. It came with my other Dell and works with this one too but if I build that will be the acid test.

For the sake of clarity, upload a screenshot of TreeSize showing the size of the MSOCache folder.

I was wrong and you were correct.
I saw it and the other number erroneously stuck in my head.
Because I have the disc I think it would behoove me to remove it as it is larger than I remember.
Eldon, thank you for calling me on it so I can make the adjustment.

I clicked to show hidden files and folders yet when I ran disc cleanup MSOCache was not there. I could run Office 2010 in Ccleaner but is there another way to remove it?
Because it shows in TreeSize I must still have it.
I will Google further but the recommended way was to run disc cleanup.

You can just right-click the MSOCache folder and delete it. I just did.
Before you do it, burn that folder to a CD. At just over 690 MB, it will fit. Then you have a backup in case the original disc fails. Also, unhide the folder prior to burning it to disc!

I have 2 discs already but thanks for the heads up.
I have used 38 GB of a TB on my C:\ so will leave it for repairs even though I have the discs. No harm done as space is not an issue.
    Thank you for the guidance.
