Get this message when I click Cont/Alt/Delete after I'm loaded and running (WINDOWS ME) but I generally seem to be running ok. When I shut down, I will get a message that a program is still running which seems to be the "mssysmgr." If I click end task it will boot down normally. Did a search for this message but came up with no results. Any ideas what is causing this and any possible suggestions. Thanks.

Thanks. The link was really helpful--hell, more than that--invaluable, as it pointed me in the direction of what I was looking for and the picture became much clearer. Initally, after deleting the problem from the start-up menu it would magically reappear on restart. In any event, after some fiddling I seem to have gotten the problem corrected--at least it did not reappear on last start up and did not find it during a disc search.

I need to perhaps invest in a good reg cleaner/fixer. Read many of the previous posts on the topic but to each his own. "Amust" sounded good but will not run on ME. Do you have one you use or would recommend. Thanks again, you done good!
