MTX Mototrax sound issues.

I just got this game yesterday & while the game runs fine, after the first race the sounds get very garbled. Kinda sounds like a robot in slow motion. It drags I guess you could say. Anyone have a clue as to why?

I have been threw the program folder looking for a file to edit, but there is nothing I can find. The in-game sound options don't allow for changing sound quality, only the Music & Effects levels.

I have even tried changing the settings in Windoze, but to no avail. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.

BTW.. I am using on-board sound.

First information on your onboard audio is needed before anyone can even attempt to help you, its not like i can read your mind. Secondly, have you searched for patches for your game, are all your audio drivers up to date (or for some people, the last time they updated). Have you tried going start>run type dxiag and lowering your audio aceleration down a bit.

 

I coulda swore I put that. lol Via AC97 sound. Yea all drivers are updated & I stated that I had tried everything, including settings in Windoze itself. No patches that I am aware of.

 

Well the way i see it, it is a recently released game, i myself have not been able to find a solution nor find other people citing a problem similar to you. The only thing can suggest is to wait for a patch to adress your issues, or purchase a non-integrated sound card.

Yea man it's too bad. The game really is alot of fun to play. I love the way it makes you preload the jumps, timing & line selection are critical. I've sent an e-mail off to the folks that made it, but yet to recieve a reply.

 

I have the same issues and seen to get an automated reply from Aspyr Technical support.
