I'm thinking of buying a multi-media hard disk, but don't know where to begin. I want to play films, look at photos and play music through my TV. What should I be looking for. What specs, etc?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I'm not sure I know what you mean.... multi-media hard disk :confused If you're referring to a hard drive to store media files, any external drive will work, USB or FireWire. Media files take up alot of space so a minimum of 250gb is recommended, maybe twice that (500gb) depending on what you're doing exactly.... If you're talking about a multi-media PC, then look for one with a good video card, a sound card capable of 6.1 or 7.1 digital surround sound (this is more or less standard these days), 2gb RAM, a DVDRW, and of course a big hard drive... be sure it will have the ability and adapters to display on your TV.
