I'm having an insane time with my computer. Its win 7 64 bit, q6600, nvida 2600, 4 gigs. I left it and it was running fine. Came back, pulled it out of sleep mode and it was frozen. Restarted and got bosd x0000007f which seemed to be from the wireless USB adapter for my logitech keyboard/mouse. I unplugged it, restarted, got to desktop and bosd x0000000a. Restarted back into safe mode with networking and got bsod x0000003b.

Now getting very confused I boot up ubcd and run memtest for 4 passes with no errors. I did a quick DFT for my primary hdd and a CPU test as well with no errors. I go back to booting into safe mode with and without networking to various success. Most of the time I get 0A or 3B errors. Malwarebytes and SAS find nothing dangerous either so I restart into repair mode and did a system restore back to this morning. Reboot and no change. Back into safe mode I uninstall samosung keis, logitech set point and gum notes as those were the only programs installed or changed in the last 36 hours. While doing this I point Microsoft security essentials to my downloads folder on my secondary hdd and run a scan which results in instant bsod x00000024.

I boot back into repair mode, pull up the cmd prompt and try to run chkdsk /r but it fails with an error saying the drive is in ntfs and is write protected. At one point I also got a bsod x0000001E but have been unable to get it again.
Trying to boot normally gets me to the desktop then a bsod after a minute, usually an 0A or 3B. Booting into safe mode mostly gets me a 0A before getting to the desktop but i can occasionally get through and work there.

So, any ideas? Dont ask for a dump log as I am sending this from an iPad.

Small update, booted into safe mode with networking and updated malewarebytes to run a quick scan. After a few minutes I got a new bsod x000000d1. Multiple restarts later I am unable to boot into any mode without a instant bsod at the window logo or about a minute or two after getting to the desktop.

I think the issue might be the virtual memory being messed up but am unable to apply the fix to it. Is there any other way to adjust virtual memory without being in the os?

Next time you get it running in Safe Mode (with networking?), try to get the minidumps and System/Application logs copied; if you can, zip and attach them, we may be able to see what's been happening under the hood.

Do you have access to another PC that you could attach the hard drive to?

Do you have the W7 DVD?

Have you tried resetting the BIOS to defaults? Turned off all overclocking?
