Multiple Entries In msconfig?

I recently installed Encarta 2006 which came with an integrated dictionary tool. I love the main app but this little tool had become increasingly annoying so I decided to disable it.

It had no option to turn it off (only to remove the icon in try but that still allowed it to boot at start up).

So with a little trail an error I finally got it turned off in msconfig. However, for some reason instead of one entry (as it was when I first started to disable it) it now appears as four separate entries (EDICT) for the same app even though it is disabled and no longer boots at start up.

Is there anyway way to remove the three other clones of this entry in msconfig (let me reiterate that they were not originally there but only appeared after I finally got it disabled).

Here is screenshot of the problem (you will see the entry EDICT x 4):

Personally I rarely us msconfig to disable anything to many headaches and I would not want to remove something from there only to find I needed it later. I use the following Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/ Service Applications/Services there you can look at the program properties and disable or manual or auto the service, you can also see the programs dependencies. I do not have a clue as to why when you disabled it in MSconfig it generated three other entries Hope that helps

Excellent work! That worked like a charm! You rock!

That was the first place I checked (as usual) but for some reason it did not appear there.
