Multiple Explorer Windows !!!

Hi guys n gals.

The other day I was sat burning a dvd of a family video and just decided to open an explorer window and select some music to listen to while the dvd was recording.

I press the Windows key + E as I sometimes do and OMG 15 explorer windows opened in succession!!!

I scanned all my drives with Norton and Spyware doctor but Nothing !

What has caused this?
Was it because I was writing a disc ?
I have used the shortcut many times before without incident.
I have gone back to using Windows Commander for the moment until I find an answer to this issue.
