Multiple Issues

1. I have been unable to remove the isearch taskbar. I ran the freeware from Spyware avenger that is specific to this problem, but it did not correct the problem.

2. I am still receiving pop-ups, using browser IE 6.0. I have run adaware multiple times. It finds the problems and then removes them. I then reran the program and more files are found and again removed.

3. The system restore option doesn't seem to be working anymore. It goes through the restore process and then at reboot states that the system can't be restored and no changes will be made.

4. I am using Microsoft outlook - program is receiving email, but is not allowing me to send email. I keep getting returned messages from AVG stating that i should try to resend the message. I have resent and have had no luck. I have run AVG and at one time actually did find Trojan viruses, but I have deleted them - and still can't send email.

5. I have tried stepping through the "sticky" thread and when I try to download the necessary software in step 4, all I get is DNS errors when I click on the links. (page won't load)

That should do it - I am truly lost and would be extremely greatful for any assistance. Thanks.

Had successful removal of the toolbar in IE, but still have the so-called deskbar in the bottom right hand corner of desktop. I tried the spyware avenger software specific to removing the bar, but after reboot - it was still there.

 

Please delete this thread. I have had my questions answered.
