Is it possible to set up multiple network connections on XP Pro, and if so how? I need on a notebook pc to be able to hard assign the ip address, dns servers and so forth at the office and when at a hotel w/broadband just plug in and go with the "optain an IP address automatically" type setup. Help me if you know how...

    thanks!!!

Windows XP allows for multiple IP addresses to be assigned to a NIC.

...alternate configuration tab! Good grief. Glad these things aren't poisonous. Thanks for you help!!!! I get blinders on after a while and too many operating systems I guess. Most of our machines are still running win/95.

    Thanks again. :)
