    Hello to the Geeks,
I have recently had numerous different issues on my computer. I've never seen such a variety of different symptoms. The most obvious were significant systems hangs, multiple "server errors" and internet connectivity dropped. I had run the Dell Support Assistant.. which may have tried loading updates. But Task Manager would show NO network activity, if I attempted to open a new browser tab.. for some time, then eventually connectivity would return. My ISP had previously had email issues (their own webmail).. but I expected it to be their problem. A call to tech support said "they were fine" but my computer was showing excessive errors. I did see that MsMpEng.exe activity had jumped to 300M of memory and ~25% processor usage. I noted a "unknown" email from Marina Marina <efxqn@appsdreamers.com>. Without opening, I looked at the source code, with bogus return addresses.. but I then had a tab open, which appeared to be a blog.. "about being hacked"?? After running all of my scans here, which seemed to run OK.. I did look at error reports, and saw disk boot issues.. so whether that is the problem, the result, or unrelated problem I'll need to address asap. I do have MWB Premium, so I just used that to scan (I would assume they are the same). In the course of doing all of this, I had Windows Explorer crash.. which I'd never seen before. (I also had unplugged my DSL Modem while running MGtools, due to having all of my anti-virus, and MWB shut down). If you could look over the files and let me know your thoughts, or what to do next, it would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks! Jerry

I am not seeing any malware in your logs. I suggest you post in the software forum for further assistance.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Re-enable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8 or 10, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Hey Tim.. thanks for the quick reply. After posting, or I should say after the scans, and so far today.. no sign of any problems.. so it may well have been some of the software that was disabled in the process. I'll keep watching and do the follow ups! Once again, many thanks. This computer has been running fairly well, but it is always nice to know the team here is available and so very helpful! Have a good one! THX, Jerry
