OK I finally got through to Asus' web site and was able to dl a bios update. After successfully flashing I still have this "problem" with the multiplier. I have it set to 9 in the bios but when I go into cpuz or everest, I can sit here and watch the multiplier change 9, 6, 9, 7, etc. Is it normal? BTW it's an Asus Commando running an E4300 o/c to 3ghz. Everything is stable and it all runs fine, STALKER, Painkiller, Far Cry, GRAW, etc.
