music editing program needed

    Hey guys, just wondering if any of you could link me up with a good program that is able/made to edit .mp3 files. Such as cut a few seconds off the beginning/end of a song. Thanks.

    video converters...

    I'm looking for sometype of (free) video converter that is able to preferably convert avi and wmv to mpg files, and/or is able to merge a few small files into a larger one (like about 5 10MB files into one 50MB file)? Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks!
