   Bought a car that does not have a cd player, but it will play mp3 music frim a sd card or usb memory stick.
   
   What file converter should I use to convert the files on the cd to mp3?

   You can use Windows media player to rip the songs on a CD into mp3 files.

   Since I never use WMP, I use a 3rd party program FreeRIP
   http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/freerip.html
   beware there are now ads. My older version doesn't have ads.
