Music help!

OK I have music homework for tomorrow so step in with the help please

I'm doing a variations composition, well just started, and I need to find songs that are variations/covers of other songs. Here are 3 that I've come up with so far -

• Coolio - Pachabell's Cannon
• Wet Wet Wet - Yesterday
• Paul Anka - Wonderwall

Any more? I think I need about 7ish if anyone can help.

Aerosmith/Run DMC did Aerosmith's Walk This Way
David Coverdale did Whitesnake's Here I go Again (does that count...doing a cover of your own band's song?)
Novaspace did Run To You...originally a Bryan Adams hit
Abracadabra by Sugar Ray was orginally the Steve Miller Band
All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendirx was orginally Bob Dylan

Probably the most unlikely "variations" are all the classical themes and melodies incorporated into rock & pop over the years. The Toy's "A Lover's Concerto" was basically a Back minuet with a new beat; made #2 on the pop charts. LOTS of other examples.
