Greetings Geeks. Running win'98 SE. Been using Music Match for years with no prob's. Recently the computer began locking up after the 3rd song in the playlist on Jukebox. Removed MMJB and Windows Media Player. Reinstalled all from ground zero...still having problem. Tech support at MMJB. Please help, we need our xmas music!

Been running MMJB ver.7.0 for a couple of years without problems.
    Maybe it's a hardware problem?
    Try other players.

    Here's an unusual situation,was running MMJB 7.1

    Dell 4600 2.6Ghz Pentium 4
    256MB Memory
40GB HD,(6 gig free at the moment)
    64MB Nvidia GeForce4
    D Dvd Drive
    E CDR Drive

now it was working fine and all of a sudden couldn't play an audio disk from E:

(Yes I checked the volume settings, here's the curious part)

WMP 9.0,an old copy of Sonic Foundry Siren,Roxio's Audio Central and WinAmp all run fine and MMJB runs fine on the D drive, I even uninstalled and went to an old copy of 6.0(retaiL),cleared that and reinstalled 7(retail),cleared that and downloaded the 8.2 basic(free) from MMJB.

I do still have multimedia (see above),but the above difficulties make it very unlikely that I'll take a chance on 8.2,which is a shame because I was used to MMJB

Hmmm sounds familliar to what has happened to me. I have tried everything and I have no Audio on D or E drives. I don't think I will go back to music match either, I'll stay with winamp at least there seems to be a lot less hassles with it>
