music producer in need of a ninja optimized PC, need advice

hey guys

im hoping someone here with a bit more knowledge than me can help me out.

Basically, I am a music producer who would like my home built PC to be running as smoothly as possible. im using ableton, reason & FL Studio and i usually run into a lot of problems with my CPU not being able to handle all the vsts, fx & CPU heavy programs i have running at once. I am hoping someone can give me advice on how i can get the most out of my PC, and tell me what changes i should be making to my set up.

i have already updated all drivers, i am running a basic theme, i have disabled all unnecessary start-up programs, and im running defrags and cleaning the registry as often as needed. I am also using AVG PC tune up which i have optimized, but im wondering if there are any other things i should be doing to get the most out of my workstation.
