Does anyone know how to get rid of mxtarget? It's a BHO that comes back whenever I reboot. I've used Hijack this, adaware, registry mechanic, spybot and spykiller. I've even tried deleting the files while in safe mode (while in regular windows, I'm unable to delete, it tells me I don't have access). Can anyone help? Thank you.

Close your browser, run HiJackThis, http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html
check the following entries in HJT, click Fix, then REBOOT.

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
    O1 - Hosts: 12.129.205.209 search.netscape.com12.129.205.209 sitefinder.verisign.com
    O2 - BHO: MxTargetObj Class - {0000607D-D204-42C7-8E46-216055BF9918} - C:\WINDOWS\mxTarget.dll

Wow Yukon, you read her HJT log without it even being posted...

    I am impressed! :D;)

I have fixed the BHO here dozens of times, and it always comes back on re-boot. Do you have any other suggestions?

    Tks, Lauraj
