    Hey.

I've been into NFS: Carbon lately, and I've been playing for a few hours in total.
But sometimes, at random it just closes the game. I don't loose my progress or anything.... I just have to start it up again.

I didn't really care, because I wasn't loosing progress. Anyway, I went to try overclocking my GPU (I just felt like it), and with the NVidia CP when you can change the Clocks, I put it to the setting where it scans for the best possible clock speeds, and I got something like. 560/1130, the default is 500/1000.

Now, since I don't have the NVidia CP with Clock Controls, I used RivaTuner, and put it at 525/1048, and I was monitoring the temps, just to see how hot it actually gets. Idling, my GPU is around 38 degrees celcius. But when I oc'd it, just that little bit (not even the optiminal overclock according to Nvidia CP), It goes up to 57 degrees celcius, and then the game closes again. Except, more frequently.

Here's a screenshot of the NVidia CP Temp Control. Everytime it came off the stable line, that's when I started playing, then we it peaked, that's when it crashed. So I was only playing for a bit over a minute before it crashed.

I'm just looking for some advice, I guess on my GPU. How come the temps go up so much, with such a small oc, and why does it crash when it gets to the 55+ degrees?

Also, what's the Slowdown Threshold it mentions in the Screenshot?

    Thank you!
