My Big Problem with my software

Good evening everyone,
I would like to thank everyone who gave me their opinions of XP and Win2000. I have decided to go with XP Professional if i can get this problem fixed up. We recently moved this past summer and i lost all of my system cd's. I mean all my drivers, win2000, microsoft office 97, roxio, everything gone. Sob Sob Sob......So any way i figured i could get the drivers off the internt but the other programs i am screwed. If i keep win 2000 i got all my programs if i go to xp i dont. Is there any way to take all the program files i have like MS Office, Roxio, and others and burn the complete program on to a cd and then reinstall them once i put xp on? That would be great. Or even i could create a dual boot system and access the programs from 2000 and use xp for everything else?

Do you have more than one partition, you would need like 2 primary partitions to make dual booter, if not you could use program like partition magic to create additional partitions, one more in which to install XP would need to be 6gb or more, more being better

you may also be able to use something like norton ghost make immage of what you got now, save to disk or another HDD, reformat and transfer back
Maybe someone else could asist you with that route, I have never done that before, but learning about
