my card will not stay overclocked

hi,
I successfully changed the clock frequencies of my nvidia geforce go 4200 64mb.

core 221MHZ
memory 440MHZ

this improves my performance greatly.
I have one problem. everytime i restart my computer it resets my frequencies to the default values:

core 196MHZ
memory 390MHZ

seen as i know the overclocked frequencies are safe for my pc is it ok to just increase them in one jump instead of a few mhz at a time.

Im having the same problem....( but with a 5600Xt ) and yea its ok to jump to the hi settings if you know thare safe.....
