    Hi,
Thanks for any suggestions. I have No idea what happen. I unplugged the router this morning as I wanted to run my computer from the DSL cable box only for the moment and after I did this all my colors have a yellowish hue to them. The blacks are horrible and this board looks lime green.

I have a dell xp 410 and im running windows XP.. I tried adjusting the colors using NDVIDA control panel but its making no difference. I also tried a system restore and completely rebooting the computer by unplugging everything for 5 moments and still not luck. =( Help!

It's possible by restoring, you lost a driver you need.
First I would try jiggling the cable between the computer and the monitor. If that is loose or not making contact, the colors can go strange.
If that did nothing, see what the date of your nvidia driver is and look if there is a newer one, on the nvidia site.

    Hello,

My name is Mike, I’m a Technical Analyst at Dell corporate headquarters in Round Rock, TX. I’m part of an internet outreach team developed to interact with the online community regarding technical questions and issues that customers face with Dell products.

It’s a little strange that unplugging a router would do this. My guess would be that maybe you accidentally knocked the video card loose or maybe just the monitor plug (if it's not screwed in properly). Try shutting down the machine and reseating the video connections, including the video card if it’s not onboard video. Just unplug them and plug them right back in.

Here is the online teardown for the XPS 410: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/xps410/en/SM_EN/parts.htm#wp1369292 . Any video card would be under the “cards” category. Hopefully a quick reseat will get this taken care of for you.

    I hope this is helpful.
