My comp won't get past xp splash

Hi,
Windows XP
Last night I cut off the power to my comp. now Every time I turn on my computer it saids:Windows was not shut down properly due to power outage etc... and lists; start windows normally, last known good cofigeration, safe mode etc...but no matter what option I select it loads a progress bar (or the safe mode thing) goes to splash/load screen for 1 second then a blue screen pops up for a split second then it restarts and the who progress repeats itself. Its driving me nuts.

i know what your problem is i had the EXACT same problem with my samsung hard drive it would do it to me all the time heres what i had to do i had to reinstall because my partion went corrupt and yes i lost all my data files b/c i only had 1 hd if u need more help email me at Shadows43207@yahoo.com im not saying u need to reinstall but i had to and i was mad heres what mine did turned on the computer it detected all of my drives i could even sit in my bios all night but when i tried to start xp up it would give me a quick flash of a blue screen and reboot and thats all it did and did it everytime
