my computer screen dont come up, please help.

i have replaced with new agp graphics card and still dosnt come up when i turn the computer on, i have made sure everything is pluged in and everything is in the right place, but still cant seem to get it going.

im using a old mother board:"

here's the link to my agp card, it is compatible, just dont understand y it wouldnt work aswell. thanks guys

 

Just suggestions: have you tried a 2nd or a neighbor's monitor, maybe your monitor went on the way side? if the card is ne then that eliminates that prob. Usually in a bad monitor you will see the bios POST running at first then nothing. Plus do you see the monitors power light? I would try a 2nd monitor just for the heck of it, if that don't work and you can hear the computer booting and beeping could be mobo, memory or other hardware probs. Usually u get use to the sound yur pc makes when it boots up. I'm curious if it is completing POST. When it powers up you can hear the power supply fan spinning and can feel the air blowing out from it. Captain, do we have power!

 

And I take it that you reseated the new card and still had the same result. ???

Have you tried installing the old card back in to check, that will tell you if the monitor is Ok.
