    I noticed the 12v is getting 8v and the 5v conenctor is getting 3v, think the is the problem? have a look at this everst log, my dads pc is getting random crashes, they happen most often when he is gaming.

    If those readings are accurate, then that could easily be the source of your problems. If you can, try another power supply in there to see if it solves it.

    my dad opened his case and aimed a fan into it, it hasn't crashed yet, could it be simply taht the psu is overheating? I can't see why the cpu or gpu would suddenly start overheating and that dowsn't make any sense with the voltages. i notice his p4 is using 1.5v is that normal? my AMD uses only .95v and has a higher clockspeed and everything.
