This is my center of Geekness
And i wonder why i have glasses....

The whole thng can be controlled from the keyboard/mouse attached to the desktop. I'm running synergy ( a virtual KM switch) to do that. From right to left,
Desktop has the 19 inch NEC Multisync FE991sb and 15inch NEC MultiSync 3FGe (was free)
laptop 17 inch Norcent LCD , Laptop 15inch LCD,
Desktop:
Athlon 1900+
512 pc2100
2x40gig WD HDD 7200
Raedon 9600 pro 128meg
ATI TV Wonder,
CD BUrner/DVD reader

Laptop:
P4 3.06ghz.
512 pc2700
40 gig HDD
Gefroce FX Go5200 64meg
Dvd +R/RW burner
good 3 horus of batery if i dont game/movies, but its plugged in till i go back to school

 

wow thats a busy desk!
mine only has one 17"tft flatpanel LG monitor and random junk, like digital camera, few pc games and subwoofer for my 5.1 speakers.

Only thing missing in that picture is the cat, she usually sleeps next to the monitor, close to the mouse...

 

hehe, My cat naps on the bed, can't see it. wish i was doing something productive on this setup

Search for a thread called "show your desktop", and click on the one that says like "show your desktop, no your other desktop" or something. Its full of peoples setups.

 

very clever MG,,I knew about this for awhile,,but now you have my name posting without messages LMAO,,whats the deal

 

couldn't find that post neo, you sure that was the name???

also, browsed some other's desktops and they all had cool utilities on like analog clocks, other shortcuts etc etc, what software is used for this?
