My Documents

I am expericing a slow down since I have redirected 'My Documents' using a GPO.

The slow down is only initially. After I access and wait on it for 10-15 seconds it is fine until is sits idle again.

Then there still is a delay.

Any suggestions on where to troubleshoot?

 

Right, well, where is it pointing to now? The slowdown would make me think its to a network drive, which take some time to negotiate when you first access the folder. Also the fact you used a GPO makes me think its on a server somewhere, and the path is dynamic depending on user.

But I'm guessing. Do tell us more about your problem.

A good place to start would be :

What OS?
When is the slowdown?
Where is the folder pointed at?
What kind of a network are you using (if any)?
