My Dvd Rom Wont See Files On A Dvd Game

    Please help..

    I have a New dvd-rw. When i put a dvd game in the drive it will tell me how much memory is used but no icons to open applications it just brings up a blank explorer window. It has run Half life2 but none of the others eg: SIMS 2, Battlefield middle earth and others. Please can you help. I have downloaded drivers and things but dont know what to to with them. When i go to update drivers it keeps the old one and tells me that it is the best.

    Why will it play DVD's and Half Life 2 but no other game?
