When I turned on my comp this morning I got Red X over the network connections with the affiliated lack of internet.

    "Not connected-No connections are available"

I tried running Windows Network Diagnostics on it.

"Install a driver for your network adapter
Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver."

I went to the Device Manager and under Other Devices it had Ethernet Controller with an exclamation point on it.

I tried Update Driver Software, but I just get "Windows could not find driver software for your device."

As I have an Intel DP35DP motherboard I went to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Se...ds&ProductProduct=IntelĀ®+Desktop+Board+DP35DP

to download and install this file
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/De...sion=Windows 7 (64-bit)*&DownloadType=Drivers

But after trying to install that I get
"Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer."

Looking at the back of the case, the ethernet cable is plugged in with the green light blinking about twice a second.

And the second computer on the same LAN is getting internet just fine.

Just make sure when you right click the adapter it is enabbled.
Instead of me typing this out check the steps here.. http://www.tp-link.us/article/?faqid=228
This will walk you through manually adding the drivers.
