i guess it needs a new power supply...if i take out harddrive can i use a laptop to boot up with it?

if i bought 2 computers the same all the time-is the harddrive switchable?

rebuilding board to new box is best i guess

I have two identical Dells that I swap a removable drive between. It is Win 10 and it activated on both machines at one time. It works fine for quite a while now.
What is the OS? Likely no, so many hardware changes will likely blue screen, if it does boot Windows will need to activated again.

When I upgraded the main board in The Behemoth, W10 did an R&I on all the drivers and booted up. It also asked me for my key after startup, and a few days after.

Chances are it could work without a reinstall these days. With older OS versions, not so much...
