I have been using Ad-aware and Spybot along with NAV 2004... and I am on an HP machine with cable. I always get this hidden installation of "Powerscan", "Lycos Sidesearch", etc without consent. I get most of it removed, and it keeps coming back. I also have been gettin a lot of "TrafficMarketplace.com" pop-ups and everything.

I found out about HiJackThis and ran it... and got rid of most of the things. But I'm still a little cautious of my O4's and what a couple of them were. So here is my long and all I need help with is the O4's like 'edwipesq', 'inetmgr', and 'zrC'.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!

Before doing any of the following you need to disable system restore and reboot: http://www.majorgeeks.com/vb/showthread.php?t=31668

    Check these out on Powerscan:

    http://www.kephyr.com/spywarescanner/library/powerscan/index.phtml
    http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/p/powerscan.asp

Check this out on Lycos Sidesearch:

    http://www.spysweeper.com/lycos-sidesearch-uninstall.html

Shutdown all applications and have HijaakThis fix the following:
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Dsi] C:\WINDOWS\System32\dp-him.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [2P6WFAX43ZHE7C] C:\WINDOWS\System32\Qbm92Z1H.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [edwipesq] C:\WINDOWS\System32\edwipesq.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [s39i3Fh] iolrac32.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [d0qsRPNse] dmcpl1.exe
    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/29adb9e...ip/RdxIE601.cab

Now boot in safe mode (http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406?OpenDocument&src=sec_doc_nam)
    and delete the following:

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\dp-him.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\Qbm92Z1H.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\edwipesq.exe
iolrac32.exe <=== you may have to search to see where this is
dmcpl1.exe <=== you may have to search to see where this is

If you trouble finding them, make sure you can view hidden files: http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

Now reboot normal mode and see how things look.
