My first mod.

I've never modded a PC before, but im ready to start. Ive already installed LED fans in the power supply, but dont know how to do anything else. I mean NOTHING. I am lookin for some detailed instructions, so if you guys can give me a link, or some written stuff id love it. especially shockcell. i saw your rig. pimp dude. really freakin awesome. Thanx guys

thanks for the compliment, pretty much all I did was use my imagination and listen to what the guys in here said, as far as building instrustions, i used www.modthebox.com

 

just for some info for ya, most sites tell you to cut your case with a dremal, I used a jigsaw which I think is alot more acurate.

very similiar to my case. i painted the inside metal to match the outside. gives it a more "finished" look. a couple of lights will look good with that large window.

Yea nice case ace.... But it could use some round cables and tidying up lol, my comp has all the IDE cable ports at the front near the drives so i dont have to worry about the airflow problem

Thanx. I thought it looked awesome, but wanted another opinion. I have a blue LED fan in the power source, and am gonna put one on that side vent too(blue I think.) Im also gonna put some UV lighting i think, and a flourescent green UV paint on the whole inside, with blue UV reactive cables. think it will look pretty sweet. i dont have a digital camera, but if and when i get money for all this, ill try to scan a pic, and post it. it could be a long while. months even

 

umm...i've got round cables. and i can't clean up more than i already have...that must have been an older pic...yep...it is. with what i have, there's not alot more i can do

I have that exact case, It was a barebone kit at TigerDirect.com > Chieftec Mini Dragon Case {Blue}, ULTRA 400w PSU, KT600 Plus v1.0 MoBo > for $40 Bucks afta MIR. I also bought that same case in silver for my parents computer that im building.
