#3 actually had one of the better looking kitchens, apart from the putrid sink color, lol!. Now, the pink kitchen with all the stains in it. THAT was definitely a puke job! uke

But I voted for #3, anyway.

 

I was kinna likin' that sink..

 

Brilliant canary yellow might look good on some things, but I personally prefer something that I don't have wear my sunnies before entering the kitchen.

@ C.P.:- Yeah I was thinking that the pinko was staged at first. Then I remembered that some guys I know actually have a worse kitchen for real. Needless to say, I don't eat there, when they offer!

 

I'ld vote for your mate just so he can get a new kitchen because I can see things that could improve kitchen efficiency and be easier to keep clean (that other swollen bench top is also screaming for help).

Granite bench top...:drool just so long as you don't put stove hot pots on it.

Granite tops are ok for pots direct from the cooker( i have them) the only thing to be a little bit careful of is cutting citrus fruit directly on the granite,here in Belgium they treat the granite to make it ok but i am not sure about the rest of the world (i should think it's ok we are just a little backwater in Europe)

 

Guess the granite tops I've seen so far haven't been treated as yours. I'm careful with mine. I use pot mats - won't risk hot pots and always use a board on the sink for cutting fruit/veg/etc...so far still looking good as new 7 years down the track, so worth the money long term (good bye to swollen benchtops!).
