My GeForce 4 mx 4000!!!!!!!!

Guys ....help me with my GeForce4 MX 4000.None of the games like Pandora tomorrow or Sands of time works..Is there any way to make them work?Dont think of upgrading my card, as it is new.


SOMEBODY HELP ME........Please give me the names of those games that wont work with this card.Also tell me how can i make them work.

AMD Athlon 64 bit
GeForce 4 mx 4000
40 Gb HDD
1.8 mhz
256 MB RAM
Windows XP PRO

 

A few things, two things that you WANT to upgrade are :

Upgrade your RAM so you have at LEAST 512MB
Upgrade your video card! http://xpcgear.com/gvr96x128d.html costs $80 That card will run games like; BattleField 2, FEAR, and all other games....
Its an EXTREMELY nice card, as a matter of fact, i have that EXACT card I am extremely satisfied!

 

hate to break it to you, but they're right! the fourth generation GeForce cards won't run many of the newer 3D games.

I upgraded to a Radeon 9250LE 128MB and the only games I've come across so far that I can't run properly are Battlefield 2 and Area 51, although I'm sure there are more. that's why I'm building a new system with a GeForce FX 6600 256 MB.

and sleepy's right... boosting your RAM to at least 512MB of PC2100 (which I have), will insure that the newer games you want to play will run smoothly.

and just FYI... the card I mentioned is all over Ebay right now for $30 or less, PCI or AGP! PC2100 RAM is always a deal on Ebay as well...

 

I get 1600+ in 3dmark 05. Its better than 56 with my Geforce 5200...

 

from the look of your system setup...your graphics card is the only thing thats is holding you back.

u can pick up your card for around £30 now.....

theres no use moaning that your OLD hardware wont run the NEW software.

as always BE CAREFUL when buying any computer accesory off of ebay. I bought a 256 MB nVIDIA GE force 6200 and got ripped off... it basically just wouldnt work. try to sendit back and the take 20% f the item cost right off the top as a "restocking fee". bastards!

 

I've Got News For You, You Need To Upgrade Your Video Card, That Mx 4000 Won't Cut It.
