My IE2 - can't figure some things out

Thanks so much for the program recommendation. I've installed and can see already that I will like it a lot. There are two things that I would love to address right now since I've spent fruitless attmepts trying to figure them out.

    1. I want that Google Bar!!! I tried making it the default in the Setup Center under "Quick Search" but it wouldn't accept it. I even deleted all other except Google, but when I enter a phrase in the Search bar and hit ENTER, some other search engine takes over. So then I clicked on the icon after the Search bar and I saw that you can configure your preferences there. I unchecked everything except Google, but the only way to search via Google is to click on the icon - rather than just hitting Enter...and as I've said before on this site...I'm lazy.

    2. The mouse functions. I have it enabled but nothing seems to be happening. I have a laptop and a pad...I've tried doing gestures on the pad and with the left/right buttons, but nothing is happening.

Do you have any suggestions? No biggie...these are small things. I already love the multiple window feature and how it opens up to a full screen. Thank you for that!

P.S. Is the MG site ungodly slow today for some reason? Other sites are fine for me, but I'm getting very slow loading times here.

    for google.
Open the MyIE options and go to IE Plugins and check the google plugin.

Mouse gestures are sensitive movements. You have to do them quickly.

If that doesn't make the google bar show, right-click above the address bar, and make sure that 'google bar' is checked.

And under 'Advanced' - make sure 'Enable IE Plugin Support' is checked.

Okay folks - Under MyIE options - Advanced - IE Plugin - There are no listings whatsoever. Perhaps this is the problem. Enable IE Plugin Support was already enabled.

Now what, my beloved tech geeks?

Also, when I right-click above the address bar (or anywhere near it) I get a drop menu of things such as MENU BAR, STANDARD BUTTONS, ADDRESS BAR, etc...but no Google Bar...??? The Pluggins Bar is ticked...but that's all that I see slightly related to the Google.

OK, I'll ask the obvious questions:

Have you downloaded and installed the Google Toolbar?

Are you running MyIE2 lite or combo version?

HA! I never downloaded the Google Toolbar. How do you do that? And thanks for the screen shot, it confirms that I'm clicking the correct thing...however, I don't have anything listed when I click IE Plugin.
