my laptop keyboard

    My laptop is a presario 2500 it has a celeron 2.8 ghz cpu 512 mb of ram it is on xp sp2 and it has a 40gb hd i recently formated it and it sorted everything i wanted t to but i have 2 volume buttons and a mute button on the side of the unit but hey just dont work any more i have tried updated he kyboard drivers and tried using the keyboard propertys in control panel but nothing can anyone help?
