my monitor

    I have got a radeon 9000 pro i have a lcd tv pluged into the primary slot and a crt in to the dvi slot via an dvi to vga adaptor the crt monitor is showing everything with a blue tint i have tried changing the refresh rate and the colour does anyone know why this is happening?

    I havnt had it set up like this before so i have never had it working.

    does the monitor have a menu? if so you may find that their are settings for the balance of the screen, "warm" "normal" "cool" etc or similar, see if that adjusts the balance.

    sadly tho and we have a nightmare in work as we use dual screens, is that not every monitor has the same colour balance, we adjust either the colour balance of the individual monitor to try and match the other one or use the colour settings of the GFX card driver properties ( colour correction menu if available ).

    I have been an idiot i just tried all the stuff you said it didnt work so i looked at the connection and i havnt plugged it in fully.

    I'm such a moron thank you for your help anyway
