Very nice! I like the slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The touchpads on most cellphone are often hard to press, and can get pretty frustrating when doing long S.M.S.'s and such.

Makes me want to flip Cingular off and go with Verizon. Sweet phone Kodo. Cingular don't even off one of the Nokia N-series...not even to new customers!! What's with that????

I just wish the screen was a bit bigger. But all in all it does what I want and more. I got the full data package so I can get online whenever I need via Sat (EVDO) and I don't have to bother trying to find a good WiFi sig now

Did you buy that with a plan Kodo, or just the phone on it's own and just dropped the Sim card in of your existing plan?

 

looks like it uses the same keyboard as the Cingular 8125. pretty cool overall.

I got the upgrade but it still cost 400.00 with the upgrade. I had no need to transfer anything over so it was a real easy swap

 

Just an FYI...The stylus falls out VERY easily (atleast on mine) So I've learned the hard way to keep extras somewhere close by all the time!!

so far so good on the stylus, but my friend at work tells me his belt clip launches the minSD card when he takes his phone off it. Now THAT sucks.

 

yeah...I kinda noticed that too...if you grab it just wrong. My belt clip swivels so it is on my hip turned sideways most of the time when I go to grab it, so I hadn't had that problem, but when I go to take it out of the cheesy case that it comes with...I have to grab it just right, and that is a pain!! I'm hoping to talk my wife into getting me a belt case that is one of those drop in style, as opposed to snap it into a fully covered case and then clip it on the belt!!

and on another cell phone note.... what is with verizon blocking out obex file tranfer on all of their phones except for motorolla's? and you have to hack the moto's to make it work..... dman capatilism..... you can get really nifty crap on your phone as long as you pay 4.99 and up? WTF

 

Perhaps too high tech, even for me. I just want a basic cell phone that works, nothing flashy like a cameraphone. Just something basic
