My new toy!

About 2 weeks ago I got the new TomTom ONE XL and actually used it last weekend on a long road trip. It worked great and I'm actually going to be using it again this weekend on another trip. Anyone have one or another gps?

Have used SatNav in the past - Mitsubishi ones are great. Am interested in a cheap color hand held for geocaching, so if anyone has experience and advice, I would be interested.

 

I think Garmin is the best. They have GPS for hiking, water, road, air. Though my experience is limited with any GPS, I like what I have been looking at so far.

This is the link to the ONE XL from TomTom's website with some info it. I really like the screen, which is a lot bigger, and it's been very accurate with the new maps loaded on it.

So your interested in a smaller gps? I don't have any experience with the hand helds, but from what I can gather you should be most concerned with price, battery life, and maps. I would go look at reviews on amazon or something. They have a hundreds of devices listed there.

 

Have the Garmin 2720 . Could not live without it .. The C550 are nice to with the blue tooth .

Thats the problem if it breaks you have no idea how to find the places you've been to

 

I couldn't live without the ONE XL either. Especially If I'm going places I'm not very familiar with. On my trip this weekend I actually use the XL to find a Hollywood video near the vacation house I was staying at. Worked like a charm!
