my OE

As another problem my OE6 express isn't working at all. It won't connect and i can't even email messages to myself. My pc has had a virus and maybe it has been corrupted but after a major clean no virus shows up .

My settings havent changed and i run a wireless connection with winxp. My iinternet browsers work fine. SEnding messages just seems to hang the OE6?

 

Have you visited the Malware forum and followed the sticky for making sure your computer is completely clean?

It may still be the better place to post because the possibility is that something nasty has changed or damaged something and those guys there are good at that sort of thing. One of the moderators will move your post if they think that would be the best place for it.

My pc has been thoroughly cleaned of malaware and email system still is no better.
It just gets timed out with sending messages and recieving them.
The password is ok and i get no popups for that.

I have oe6 and winxp home; it must be a setting somewhere. I turned off virus scanner to no avail on oe6. The sysgate firewall setting has allowed on oe6 as well.
