    Owdo Y'all.
    Can anybody help?
My Toshiba Satelite Laptop (7+ yrs old) only switches on if I go through "Last known safe switch on". I've tried all the other ways to switch it on and it just continues looping to try and switch on.
When I switch it on as above it is OK but a bit slow as though bugs have a grip on it - but it is old after all!
Ive put Spybot S+D on it to get rid of any bugs, which worked successfully - got rid of Trojans etc, but, S+D says there are 107 objects running that it cannot check (or something) even when there is nothing else running (and there is only 54 processes running).
When I switch it off and then on again it has gone back to not having Spybot S+D (obviously cos I have to return to "last known safe switch on").
Does anyone know what I can do to get it to switch on normally and permanently remove the bugs?

System is: XP home, pentium 4................what else?

    please help!!!
    Dbs

I would suggest that you post in the malware section after doing:
READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

This may or may not be malware, but we should check to rule that out.

Start a thread with the requested logs.
