My pc doesn't recognize my ipod shuffle when I plu it in

When I plug my ipod shuffle into my computer my computer says, "USB device not recognized" I brought my ipod to the apple store and they said the ipod works fine. I told them what the problem was and one of the guys there said that it was a problem with my pc and could be easil fixed but that he could not d it because he worked at the apple store. Can some one plx help me.

Sounds like you got a bad apple at the Apple store. Maybe, someday, when I get big, I'll get me a Mac. :cool

I am going to add that through the course of looking at the apple website I found out that in my Device manager under my Universal serial bus controllers that I in fact have no Ipod port, nor do I have a USB Mass Storage Device.


How do I get that, lol?
