    Mainboard: MSI G41M4-F
    processor: Intel Pentium D 3.75GHZ
    Video Card: Nvida Geforce 9800GTX+
DVD Drive:HP DVD Writer 640b ATA Device
Hard drives: Hitachi HDs721050CLA362 ATA device--WDC WD800BB-00JHC0 ATA Device
    RAm- 4GB
    Power supply- 300Watts max

Also i dont know how to find out what fan i have on the processor but its a basic (stock) fan. i also put the thermal grease on the new processor and wiped all the old off the fan. my fan seems to be running fine and i just cleaned the case. The game it shuts down on does NOT require any disk drives. Can someone help me please.

What CPU temps are you running? If you're overheating, your PC will shut down for self-protection. I'm lead to believe you reused your old heatsink/fan, which may not be suitable for cooling your new CPU or you may have used too much paste.

Also, your GFX card specs recommend a minimum of a 450 watt PSU while you have a 300 watt PSU. If your card is starving for power, that will be an issue. Also, you should check your GPU temps too. It's an older card and those fans don't always last forever.

Did you have problems playing this game with the old CPU?

I agree - you are CLEARLY abusing and over-stressing your PSU with that power hungry graphics card. You DEFINITLEY need to replace your PSU with a good one from a reputable maker that is 80-Plus certified. When I plug your hardware into the eXtreme PSU Calculator Lite to determine your bare minimum and recommended power supply unit (PSU) requirements, using the most conservative values, I get a bare minimum recommended size of 341W (and I did not yet add in your RAM!!!!).

When I factor in a couple drives, a couple fans, just 10% cap aging and 100% utilization, I get a minimum recommended value of 431W. So I recommend getting at the very least, a good 450W supply. I like Antecs and Corsairs.

If me, I would probably look at 550W or larger to ensure the PSU is not straining - thus runs cooler (and quieter).

Finally, I can find no Intel Pentium D that runs stock at 3.75GHz. Therefore, if you do have a Pentium D, and you are overclocking, STOP OVERCLOCKING NOW - until this heat problem is sorted out.
