The other laptops in the house have been connecting to the internet, but one of my laptops can't connect. I've looked online and ran the ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew commands, but each time I do, the ifconfig /renew command comes back with the error, "No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection while it has its media disconnected. An error occurred while renewing interface Wireless Network Connection : unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has timed out.

Also, when I try to repair my wireless connection, I get the error: "Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: Renewing your IP address"

Press the Windows Key and the R key at the same time. In the Open box type devmgmt.msc
Check under Network adapters. Your wireless adapter should be listed there. If needs be right click it and select properties.
