my pc won't boot just get black screen

    hello,i am using windows 7 ultimate.i start my pc its comes up windows is starting with the blue screen,then stops,and a black screen just appears.it does start in safe mode but I try and connect to the internet and it tells me there a connection problem.i am clueless about this stuff .:confused
