When I click START there use to be two sets of programs I can launch (seperated by a line). The top options are shortcuts that were pinned but all the ones below the line are gone?

I am new to Vista and apparently I did something to mess this up. Any help would be great! Thanks.

    Hi

Had you been changing the Start Menu layout from the new type to the older XP type view? at times that can delete those entries below the pinned group as that group below the pinned is a collection of reciently used so should re-populate itself as you start to use applications again

If it doesnt then right click the Start orb and choose properties > Start Menu tab > if Start Menu is checked at the top then click Customize button and make sure you have Number of recient Programs to Display set to say 8 then click OK > Apply

It could also be a cleaning application you maybe using that resets this list to empty, so do you use any applications like CCleaner ( if set to default settings then it doesnt clear this list ) etc?
