my tv card has no sound??

hello,
i just bought and installed a internal tv card. i have a GA-945gcm(x)-s2 motherboard, i installed the realtek HD audio sound driver plus realtek audio sound manager that comes with the board. and it works great with cd's dvd's etc! but for some reason i can't get the sound to pick up from the tv card? it has 3 audio jacks built in, my internal sound card has 6. i know i use a audio jack to jack cable which came with it to link them together, but i get nothing? can anybody help please?
