My Uncomfortable Confession...

It's evil...but I am smoking in the apartment right now. -My sleeping girlfriend would kill me for this and the guilt is nigh overwhelming.
-Door to the PC room is shut -Housecoat stuffed under the door and the fan is sucking air out the window. -Living on the edge! -and you thought Sky-Diving was risky!
-Just thought I'd share this pointless info. with you.

Since smoke has the nastiest smell to it. When ever I feel like smoking I just go outside.

 

Yep, either do it openly, or don't.

 

Not only not fair, but it won't work. She'll smell it. On you, in the room. And if/when you deny, you'll just trash her trust... deservedly. Sit down & either work out an agreement you can both live with, or decide amicably that it won't work. That's the only workable plan for ANY difference. Usually you can work out something acceptable. If not, denying/lying won't make it better.

Funny how. the people that smoke can't stand the smell either

 

522, Give it up, if only for your health. Both my folks died from smoking too much. Mum, a tall lady, down to around 40-50 pounds in weight when she died. A terrible waste and a terrible way to go. Dad was a tobacconist and barber in the days when such a profession was common. When I left for Africa for 18 months I left my tower PC with a heavy smoker friend. When I returned I got it back. It reeked of tobacco smoke. Inside the case was stained scummy yellow/brown by tobacco smoke. Fortunately I have never smoked and my 2 boys are allergic to tobacco smoke ( or were in their younger days) so they don;t smoke either. Also bank the money you would have spent on fags each week. Spend it your missus or new bits for your computer. Bazza
