My Video Card or Ram?

This is my situation....

Im playing this C & C generals and Zero Hour.
First, i tot its normal that it runs so slow (the army and battle machine) like flies walking. it took me 3 hours just to finish one mission. i have:
XP 1.6 gig
256 ram
Video card, i dont know what is installed in my pc, but im sure there is



But one time i go in internet cafe i tried to play same.
and it shockeds me, they all are very fast and it took me only 15min to finish one mission. The Pc in internet cafe has:
XP 2.2 gig
512 mb ram
(video card, i dont what they are using)


What i want to know is...

* How do i know what kind of video car i have?
* I want to upgrade my pc to get the game run faster, which one i will uprade:
the RAM?
or the video card?

Your advice/help is appreciated

first thing id do is add more ram; if Generals is the most intensive game u play then 512 will be enough. To find out what video card u have, right click on an empty space on the desktop and then go to Properties->Settings->Advanced->Adapter then under Adapter Type it will say the name of your card.

RAM=512 actually thats my plan already but my bucks is not yet complete (i need $41 for the new one, i cant rely on second hand here in our place)
